The primary objective of the Health App is to foster connections with users participating in research studies aimed at uncovering the root causes of specific health conditions. These studies and protocols have received approval from WVU’s Institutional Review Board and compliance teams.

• Participants can record and share essential lifestyle factors such as sleep patterns, diet, physical activity levels, and stress management.
• Users can document and relay health-related information including mood fluctuations, symptoms experienced, body temperature, and responses to survey inquiries.
• The app provides notifications and reminders to encourage participants to complete any outstanding tasks.
• Participants can engage in cognitive tasks designed to further assess their health and well-being.

Consent:

Participation in research studies or programs via the app is entirely voluntary. Users must review and consent to the terms and conditions established by the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) before enrollment. Consent is facilitated electronically, allowing users to sign and submit their agreement to participate. Participants may opt out of the study at any time by uninstalling the app and ceasing data sharing.
